GEF’s Brand New Headquarters
Grière Electric Field (GEF) has chosen Kube Design Architecture (KDA) for the design of its new headquarters and associated workshop. KDA’s experience in the design and construction of tertiary and industrial buildings of all types allowed a rapid and effective response to problems raised thanks to the pertinent analysis of the projects requirements.
Grière Electric Field, a global player, is an experienced supplier of electrical engineering equipment and services for all types of electrical power plants, on land and at sea (on ships and offshore installations).
The design of two separate spaces allows the division of internal operations inside dedicated areas. The size of each room, and each envelope, was studied meticulously, working in tandem with users and GEF’s director, Pascal Grière. KDA’s architects were able to provide an optimised and rational response to each of their expectations, whether it involved indoor space and ergonomics, the implication of different lighting set-ups depending on their orientation, functional movements, or the distribution of equipment.
